MY STORY Ann-Clore Duncan
In 2011 when my son was a senior at Edmond North High School, I began helping students with college admissions. Education is my passion, and nothing is more rewarding than working with high school and college students.
Applying to college can be stressful, but with strategy and a timeline, it can be organized and maybe even fun. I honor each student's personal interests, skills and future goals, maintaining that each one deserves unique treatment in his or her college planning. To stay current on what colleges are looking for, I visit schools on a regular basis. To date, I have visited over 100 colleges and attended over 60 formal admissions presentations and walking tours. At DePauw University, I received a B.A. in English Composition and Communication. My husband, Walt, and I raised our three children in Oklahoma where they attended Edmond Public Schools. James graduated from Harvard in 2016 and Perrin graduated from DePauw in 2017 and received her MFA from the Burren College of Art in Ireland in 2019. Emma graduated from DePauw in 2019 and graduated with a Masters of Arts in Teaching in Administration from Texas Wesleyan in Fort Worth in 2020. In addition to college consulting, I serve on the Education Committee, the Executive Committee, and Board of the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum and the Executive Committee and Board of the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits.
